What is a trunk show?
A trunk show in the tailoring world is an exclusive event where a tailor such as Bangkok Dress Tailor can showcase their latest fabric and design options directly to clients, often in a city away from home. This means that you can browse through fabric options for your custom dresses, coats and suits firsthand despite not being in Bangkok – we visit your city!
Bangkok Dress Tailor trunk shows are normally held in hotel suites; either at a central location or near a major airport. However, we can also make office or home visits if you have a group of people interested in having clothes tailored with us.
Where are these trunk shows held?
We host trunk shows all over the world. From Los Angeles to London, Singapore to Sydney, and beyond.
Our most frequent trips are to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands, Singapore and Australia.

How long have you been hosting trunk shows?

Through our parent brand, Romeo & Juliet Tailor’s House, we have been hosting trunk shows in various cities for over 30 years. We have a process that we adhere to for each trunk show order, where there is a thorough Q.C. process to see that your garments are tailored to your size and style requirements before we ship them to you.

Will you take my measurements at the trunk show appointment?

Yes. When you drop by for your trunk show appointment, it’ll be as if you were at our store in Bangkok. You will be able to browse through our wide selection of fabrics for different types of garments, work with us to design your custom dress or suit, and have your measurements taken by an experienced tailor.
If you own a garment similar to the items you would like us to tailor for you, we encourage you to bring it along if it fits you well.

If I order custom clothing during a Bangkok Dress Tailor trunk show, when will my clothes arrive?

Your clothes will arrive 4-8 weeks after your trunk show appointment, depending on the city where we meet you, and your home address.
When we ship clothes to you, they arrive right at your doorstep. Any duties and taxes that may apply are prepaid by us in advance.

Can you host a trunk show in my city?

Do you also offer custom clothing for men?
